Wave Energy Scotland's 6th annual conference took place on 16th November 2023. Once again held in the beautiful National Museum of Scotland, we saw a great turn out of delegates with a packed agenda, kicked off by a keynote address from Gillian Martin, Minister for Energy and the Environment. The day was split into 5 key themes: - Session one: The wave sector seascape - Session two: Technology development - Session three: Innovation funding mechanisms - Session four: Steps to success, commercialisation & optimisation - Session five: Development pathways to 2030

The fifth WES Conference was held in May 2022, with Michael Matheson MSP attending to provide the keynote address. Project updates were given from participants in the WES programme, along with information on the recent activities completed by WES, policy makers, and the wider wave energy sector.

WES' second Annual Conference took place on Tuesday 28th November in Edinburgh. The one day conference was designed to inform delegates about the progress of the various WES programmes since its establishment in 2014.
